crash after moving game

Post by fflux » December 8th, 2013, 4:36 am

i used the mc a long time without problems.

now i decided to move the game to my ssd drive.

now mc crashes when setting the ammount of clients, it start with 0, when i put it on any other number it crashes.

then i tought well, lets the game back to the standard path, still fails on the same place.
is MC storing some information somewhere that he can't access anymore?

I think you might be experiencing the bug that happens when AC2 is installed to a location other than the default. I have a fix for it, I just haven't released an update of AC2MC yet.

Send me a PM with an email address to use and I will send you an update with instructions to try.

Doh! That would make it a little tough... lol

I'm going to assume that I can send email to the address you provided for registration and send it to there.

Sorry I didn't get back to you about this yesterday, I was caught up in another project and I checked the forum with Tapatalk, but it said there were no new messages. It lied.

Anyways, I have sent the email so be looking for it and also check your spam folder if you don't see it soon.

Let me know if that works for you.

hmm wonder where my reply went,

ik works perfectly only one suggestion.

make it so that it is possible do throw away a closed client.

bit hard to write lol, but i mean, if i close a client the program still thinks it is running and gives an 'all clients in use'

then i need to restart it, and get a few times that he can't open the dat files (because that one is running)

Hope i explained it wel.

I know what you mean about the switching of clients. I am planning a rewrite of how it keeps track of clients for the next release.

I'm hoping to get to it within the next month or two.
